yeeeaaahhh... since i've been at chikka for nearly two years (WTF), i decided to give the guy a revamp. it's nice to draw things you used to draw before, to see how far you've gone.

glad you noticed! hehe, i learned how to use the corkboard because of nicc. NOW, i've been trying to wean myself from it, and make those texture-ish qualities on my own, so to speak.

but sometimes, it's just irresistable.

and yes. yellow is the new black, in the world of scrotums.

yeah, i think Nicc has spawned a whole new generation of corkboard users... or 'corkers'. haha.
my feelings on using textures is WHY spend 6 hours creating the same effect from scratch when you can get it by using a photo in 3 seconds?

i know it's not truely 'artistic'... but in the 'real world' where money = time, if you can create the same effect in less time, why be all purist? time for that when you've made your millions and returned to hobby art :B
